Teaching Philosophy

My creative and pedagogical research focuses on self-discovery, collaboration, and somatic inquiry. My embodiment  practices are rooted in release techniques with a focus on sensorial guidance. I aim to produce pedagogical, creative, and research activities that inform disciplinary practices, provoke personal development and deepen dancers' understanding of their potential as artists, educators, and lifelong learners and leaders.

As a teacher in a continually evolving field, I want to adapt my courses to encompass what is currently happening in the world of dance. I try to keep myself and my students up to date with the challenges and questions that we face and incorporate the concepts required to work and further our field of dance.
